This is a Networking project for Cisco IOU & IOS Configuration.

Project Details:

In this project, I explained the use of IOU to emulate switches on the GNS3 platform due to its support for trunking. Cisco IOS on UNIX (IOU) is a fully functional version of IOS that runs as a user-mode UNIX (Solaris) process. This project explores these appliances in detail. IOU provides Ethernet 10 Mbps and serial interfaces, whereas IOS routers offer additional features, such as various interface types, full duplex support, and speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps. While the EtherSwitch router provides significantly more functionality, it still does not match the capabilities of Layer 2 IOU.
