This is a networking project focused on a multi-vendor OSPF lab using GNS3 software and VirtualBox. GNS3, similar to Cisco Packet Tracer, is used by network engineers to emulate, configure, test, and troubleshoot both virtual and real networks.
In this Multivendor OSPF lab, I explained that in multiarea OSPFv3, all areas are connected to the backbone area (Area 0) through Area Border Routers (ABRs). In my blog, I detailed OSPFv3 routing for multiple areas and demonstrated how to configure interarea route summarization on the ABRs. This lab is multivendor, involving appliances from various vendors, primarily Cisco and Juniper, among others.
